AI team lead

Lead a team that builds AI: judge designs, quality, risk and cost.

This is you

You lead engineers or data scientists, or you will soon. You may be an engineering manager, a tech lead, or a senior engineer who is stepping up. Your team is starting to build AI features, and you must make good decisions about them.

Where you are going

A confident leader of an AI team

  • Talk with your team about models, data and evaluation in their own terms
  • Know from the evidence when an AI feature is ready
  • Find the security, privacy and cost risks before launch
  • Plan, hire for and run the AI work of your team
  • 3 stages
  • 13 courses, 13 available now
  • About 70–95 hours of study
  • 2 certificates of completion + 10 concepts certificates

How much code you need

  1. No code
  2. Read code
  3. Some code
  4. Code is central

You do not need to write code on this path. The lessons show code, and it helps if you can read it, because you will review designs and results. Where a course has notebooks, you can read them instead of running them.

Your route, stage by stage

Each stop is a course. Its shape tells you how much of it to take.

  • Full course. The whole course, with its practice. It leads to a certificate of completion.
  • Concepts. Only the concept modules, read without running code. They lead to a concepts certificate.
  • Optional. Useful for some people. You do not need it, and it is not counted in the time.
  1. You, today
  2. Stage 1 Understand the workabout 15–21 h

    1. AI Career Foundations: Roles, Skills and Roadmaps

Earn certificates as you go

You do not need to finish the whole path to show what you learned. Each full course gives a certificate of completion, and each concepts course gives a concepts certificate. Share each one when you get it.
